Y-axis support
The multi noise biome source, unlike other biome sources, also varies vertically as well as on the usual xz. Perhaps the y-axis slice could be determined via a slider once multi noise is supported.
For the 1.18 biome visualization to be useful, it will need to determine the Y level of the terrain surface and display the correct biome for that terrain, as no single Y level's biome data will display an accurate map of the surface biomes across an entire world or even a moderately sized region.
But perhaps there should be an option to toggle on single-Y-level mapping and include a slider to select a Y level in this mode. This would allow for easy finding of underground cave biomes and make it easy for players to see what grass and water colors will occur in their tall builds.
