Height of Medium font style is more than regular font style for same size of 10

Is this as per expected behavior or a bug?

Should be the same. How do you test? What’s your setup? Can you post screenshots?

I am using notepad++ and visual studio code. Both have the issue at size 10. Attached the screenshot. fira_code_medium_10 fira_code_regular_10

Are you using variable font or TTF? Might be hinting

I am using TTF. So should I use variable ?

You could try. I’ll check again but I’m pretty sure in font files all weights share the same height and in this case Window render is acting up
