Create a ligature transition to =- and -=

Create a ligature transition that thins and bold a line. For example I could write

For a bolder line at center and thinner at ends.

classic request: since this would effectively add a ligature for -=, can we get += to be the same, just struck?

I think it’ll only kick in after at least two minises. -= and += should be a separate decision

This might be too much effort but I think for full functionality you'd need ligatures for all possible connecting characters as well, such that for example --->=== and ---|=== and ===|--- are also continuous
