NST-Manager Devices appear but don't connect in Smarthings Android App. Classic App is fine.

Note: I tired to resolve this issue with a complete de/re-install using Community manager. In re-install, I used the new 5.3.8 code. The issue is that everything is working great in the Android Classic ST App, but not in the new version. I am forced to use classic app to do the initial configuration of the NST-Manager, because this is not yet supported in the new ST App. I completed this and everything appears to be working great (and pretty stable), in Classic. Devices appear in the new app, but I get the message "Cannot connect to device. Check device and try again." Devices appear to be "ONLINE" in the IDE and otherwise fine.

Verify the following before opening an issue:

  • [X] You followed the Nest Developer documentation here? Nest Developer Account Creation
  • [X] That OAuth is Enabled for the SmartApp under the IDE.
  • [X] The SmartApps and ALL (5) Devices Handlers are using the latest code available.
  • [X] You have reviewed the NST Manager Wiki for potential fixes.
  • [X] That ALL SmartApps and Device Handlers have been Published for You in the IDE.

About Your Setup:

  • How many Thermostats?: 2
  • How many Protects? 0
  • How many Cameras? 0
  • Using the Nest Presence Device? Yes
  • Using the Nest Weather Device? Yes
  • iOS or Android?: Android
  • Mobile App Version: 2018.06.12

Expected Behavior

Nest devices and NST-Manager function in the new Android ST App.

Current Behavior

  1. When clicking on the tile for any of the NST-Manager installed devices including my Thermostats, Presence Device, and Weather Device, I receive and error. "Cannot connect to device. Check device and try again."
  2. When clicking on the on the NST-Manager SmartApp, I receive a long pause with the rotating circle gif, then after about 15 seconds I get the Network or server error occured. Try again later. This behavior is consistent over hours.
  3. All devices work in the Classic app.

Steps to Reproduce (for bugs)

  1. Open android ST App (current version)
  2. Click on any Nest device or the NST-Manager SmartApp.

Context

I've started with the immediately prior version of NST-Manager. With the last two versions I have been unable to get the new ST App working. I'd like not to have to go back and forth between Classic and Current to control my home.

Unfortunately, clicking on any of the above devices or the NST-APP produces no logs. Here are logs around the time I tried pressing tiles in the new ST App, but they appear to be heartbeat type logs.

For context here are logs that come up when I use the classic app to adjust various setting in one of my Thermostats:
