Published versions of the library are compiled in debug (optimizations off)

While I understand that this is technically a pre-release/beta version, it would be good to consume a release version of this library for performance reasons.

The base Lucene library compiles for release in its beta versions, and there's no effective alternative for either of these libraries that isn't pre-release.
