This project has been abandoned, there are some alternatives like [Glance](https://github.com/samuelmeuli/glance) and [iPreview](https://findergg.com/), but they don't provide only Markdown, they are **all in one** plugins and they don't allow customization....
The version number in the Finder info for this release still says 1.3.5 This also continues to not work on Catalina
