For this to be fixed this repo would really have to start tagging releases.

Temporary workaround:

fetch the currrent tarball and compute its sha:

curl -L "https://github.com/tobi/try/archive/refs/heads/main.tar.gz" -o /tmp/try-main.tar.gz
shasum -a 256 /tmp/try-main.tar.gz

edit the formula, temporary as it will break again as main branch moves, and replace the sha256 you computed:

brew edit try

Install the modified formula:

brew install --formula try
