I have lost contact with the original author and have no access to the repo to accept/fix changes. I will be doing a hard fork of the repository and continue development.

Oh, OK, one hour ago I wrote we have to wait for a consensus, but if the problem dates of three years ago, it is different. For developers who have a ready pull request to propose (for which Git displays the modifications on coloured background), but are hesitant about the protocol to upload it, do you have something to propose?

For the moment being, mine displays the called program name as a tooltip, perhaps that is already done?
