SharepointOnline Connection Security?

Hi,

I'm using this project to read a SharepointOnline list to create a PHP form, and then write the form inputs back into another Sharepoint list.

Does the project code enable a secure connection to SharepointOnline, and if not, has anyone found a way to do so? Thanks!

how to get authentication token? i want to provide a login page at php site after then it will be redirected to a site in sharepoint online????
