Problem you are trying to solve

Right now it is hard for TalkBack users to perform the "pull down to refresh" gesture. There is also no spoken feedback or as such to notify the user when the refresh has started and completed.

Suggested solution

  1. Provide a button to refresh in the more options menu or at the top-bar, and provide a toggle in K-9 settings to turn the refresh method off or on. Additionally notify the TalkBack user about the refresh process.
  2. Introduce "shake device to refresh" method, and also a toggle to turn it on or off in K-9 settings. notify the TalkBack user about the refresh process.

I'd like to work on this do you approve adding button to refresh in the more options menu at the top-bar or you're looking at a different direction for this cc: @cketti @wmontwe

Hello, adding a "refresh" button in the more options menu would be great. However, it would be easier for users to find the "refresh" button if it was housed in the top bar beside the "search" or "more options" button.
