Problem you are trying to solve
While using aliases for emails, if we want to answer using that email, we need to have an identity for it. If using a lot of aliases (one per services for example), that is a lot of identities to create which most may be similar (signature / name).
Suggested solution
When managing an identity, we currently have the option to
- Edit
- Move up
- Move down
- Move to top / make default
- Remove
Adding an option to 'Duplicate' or 'Use as template' or 'Clone', allowing to create a new identity with the fields pre-filled.

No response
#935 (unfortunately locked) would give you dynamic identities to reply with. You wouldn't have to create them unless you wanted to use an identity to send an email that isn't a response.
