jupyter notebooks fail to open on first attempt
Issue Type: Bug
Attempt to open a jupyter notebook (.ipynb files) fails the first time. The editor just displays a blank page. After attempting a few times (closing and reopening the file), it loads eventually. Issue reporting on MacOS
