Can not install - instructions not clear

I wanted to install the driver in Mac OS and in installation instructions it says "doubleclick the Control Panel". There is only "Preferences" in Mac OS and clicking on it shows other settings. Please advise how to do the installation in Mac OS. Thank you, Jan
