Ability to hide 'Home' from Sidebar? #question

I'd like to have my sidebar display without 'Home', as the menu bar includes this persistent link already. Is it possible to exclude 'Home' from the sidebar?

  1. copy from your_site/themes/hugo-theme-techdoc/layouts/partials/menu/slide-menu.html to your_site/layouts/partials/menu/slide-menu.html

  2. and remove the following line <li class="{{ if .IsHome }}active{{ end }}"><a href="{{ .Site.BaseURL }}">Home</a></li>
