Improved wording for the MQTT Documentation
As mentioned in this issue the wording of this section is not optimal. I would suggest to change it to this small paragraph and word change.
@ashvayka could you please approve this, if you are ok with the new wording?
Any update on this?
This is not entirely correct. We act as a server that accept MQTT connections/publish and subscribe requests, but to a limited number of topics. You can also use external MQTT broker in combination with MQTT Integration to consume data from other brokers or devices that do not support our MQTT topics/payload format.
But you can't use the ThingsBoard Server instance as an MQTT broker and that is what people take from this bit of the documentation. Currently the ThingsBoard basically acts as a MQTT client, which stores the information. People have to use an external MQTT broker to use MQTT devices with ThingsBoard. You may edit my piece if this wasn't clear from what I've wrote. @ashvayka
Or is this functionality that is planned to work in the future? @ashvayka
