Not compatible with Ocaml 5.3

It looks like this won't compile on Ocaml 5.3 -- looks like this might be due to upstream stuff with stdlibcompat. I see there is a pr for stdlibcompat here https://github.com/jamesjer/stdcompat/tree/ocaml5.3 that fixes this.
