Allow "Recently added" tracks to be displayed per album

Currently, the "Recently added" smart playlist allows me to quickly see my new songs. However, I tend to add my new music as whole albums, so the current view with ouf-of-order tracks is less useful to me. Could it be feasible to add, for example, a tab to switch between "Song" and "Album" view inside of that playlist? Or alternatively, to allow sorting the global "Album" view by "Most recently added", as in Google Play Music (such approach may allow to browse further in the past than using the smart playlist)?
