As some people already noticed I'm not able to maintain this still great script anymore. Please let me know if someone wants to take over this repo :slightly_smiling_face: I left IT business and don't got enough free time to maintain this script as needed.

Hello, I am the maintainer of the blocksync-fast project, which is similar and actively maintained. If anyone is interested in similar solution, I invite you to check out blocksync-fast.
