If I update with new Redirect To Url still redirect to previous url

Steps 1: Create "Redirect Ul" item give "Requested Url" as /welcome, "Response Status Code"- "301 Moved Permanently" and "Redirect To Url" give any internal link ex Home Step 2: Access /welcome it is redirecting as expected to home

Step 3: Update "Redirect To Url" give any other internal link ex products remove home link Step 4 : Access /welcome it is redirecting to still home page link not product page link

Can you please help with issue
