Delete "hangs" but keystrokes are registered

Ed 0.19.4 iOS 9.3.4 iPhone 6s Plus

  1. type some nonsense
  2. touch delete a lot

Seems to stop at random location and will not continue to delete. But... you can see that keystrokes are registered in the "suggested" area.
