Explanation of immediate task

There were two attributes added to output_form in 4.7.2, context and format. In the online documentation, both have a long list of values, but no explanation is given for the values or their use. As a neophyte user of Textpattern, I have no idea what those options mean, nor do I know how or if I would want to use them.
