Thumbnail of desaturated image not correct

Polo 18.2BETA - Image (donation plugin)

When I desaturate an image the resulting file does not show the correct thumbnail. Sometimes it shows the "broken image"-thumbnail, sometimes a texticon, etc. Reopening Polo fixes the problem.

I'm on Fedora 27.
