Sign Up is still there

According the issue #1285 this issue should be fixed, but in version 1.6.0 it's again possible to sign up although it is disabled in the settings.

I'm running into the same issue. "Allow creating new accounts" is set to off, but I can still see the "Sign Up" option while incognito

Any fixes yet?

You get an error message after trying to sign up.
