When I set timers, they don’t actually run when I turn off the screen

The issue I’m facing with this software is that when I set timers, they don’t actually run when I turn off the screen. I’ve enabled the option to allow it to run on top of other apps and ensured battery optimization doesn’t restrict it. I’ve granted the software all permissions on my phone. However, when I start a timer and turn off the screen, the timer stops and doesn’t continue running. I started a timer from 5:00 AM to 9:00 AM, and since I don’t use my phone frequently during that time, when I checked at 9:00 AM, the timer had only counted one hour. Please help resolve this issue.
My phone is an Android Xiaomi 11T Pro.
