TapTools .mxo not functioning (also where's [tap.applescript])

OSx 10.6.8, Max 6.1.2 All tap. .mxo don't want to work whether TapTools folder is in Applications/Max/Packages or Documents/Max/Packages. Also, where is [tap.applescript]? Thank you!
