Clock widget on top does not launch timers or stopwatch

The show Date/Time option is awesome because I can get a clock on the top left of my Home screen.

However. Unlike when opening the "Clock" app, then I click on the time display I can only set alarms and it timers or stopwatches, forcing me to call upon the "Clock" app itself when doing that.

This is not the case with the default UI where pressing on the time date widget actually opens the "Clock" app with all options (alarm, timer and stopwatch).

Is there any way to change the behaviour?
