Problem when gps device resets

Hi we use taimos 1.10 library and connect to a gpsd deamon version 3.1 on a linux machine The gps device is bundled with a modem uc20 (qualtech) When the modem/gps resets (power or from command) the library stops receiving events after that. if we connect to the gpsd with a different client and query him ,after that the library starts receiving events.
