It will be added into tailwind soon: https://tailwindcss.com/blog/tailwindcss-v4-beta

I guess this repo will not be needed anymore

If you don't want to wait for the official version I've done this fork a while ago, not perfect but gets the job done !

but v4 is already out, no need for a fork

I get that, but I didn't find any direct support for container query height, apart from the new cqh unit. I'd love to have the link if you got though !

It would be nice for those of us stuck on tailwind v3 to have this one last update.

Hey folks! As of Tailwind 4 (released early this year) we have container queries built into the core utilities now: https://tailwindcss.com/docs/responsive-design#container-queries

I hear the feature request for height container queries and it's something that we're exploring to add to Tailwind directly (There's a PR already open if you want to weigh in: https://github.com/tailwindlabs/tailwindcss/pull/13389)

With that, it's unlikely for us to add new features to this extension I'm afraid! But we really hope you can upgrade to v4 – it's adding a ton more cool stuff too!
