bios 1.7 "this version of macos is not supported"?
I just tried to install macOS High Sierra and I got the 'circle with the cross' error after booting to install macOS from USB. Verbose mode stops early with the error 'This version of macOS is not supported".
Did I miss a step? Do I need to change something SMBIOS related?
9350, 1080p, Toshiba SSD, DW1830 Wifi. Win10 currently installed.
I am by no means an expert, but changing the smbios from macbookpro13.3 to macbookpro13.1 helped me to get past a kernel panic. If you want to try my clover folder look here: #186
If those things don't work maybe something went wrong while preparing the USB. I've successfully installed HighSierrra 10.13.3 using rehabman's guide on tonymac using the terminal method.
