Full Handoff Functionality (including Unlock with Apple Watch)
@syscl I thank you very much for all of the hard work which you have done on this build. You have made it very easy to setup and get all of the basic functions working.
I want to know if anyone else is also having a problem with handoff functionality. I have tried this using the DW1560 and I am now using the DW1830. The problem appears to be the same for both devices. When trying to load a Safari page using handoff from my iPhone or iMac TO this laptop, it will just load a blank page and eventually timeout. If I am browsing a safari page on the laptop though, and I load it using handoff on my mobile device it works fine. So It seems that I am getting partial (or one way) functionality. I am trying to find out if this is an issue on my end which I can fix, or if there is a known limitation of this hardware.
I notice the same is true in regards to the universal clipboard and I am also unable to unlock with Apple Watch, or enable personal hotspot automatically.
Any suggestions for anything I should try?
I am running the XPS13 9350 with DW1830 and the ultra high resolution touchscreen.
Thanks!
It works perfectly fine for me (I am on High Sierra now however, but most of the configuration is the same as what's provided here plus I remember it working find even when I was in 10.12.x) Maybe it's a problem with your Apple ID? check all your preferences and settings
Same problem. I didn't try unlock with iwatch, but my apps opened on iphone doesn't appear on my dock. I can find hotspot of my iphone but can't connect on it directly. I doubt that there are something wrong on bluetooth. If you have some way to solve, please remind me. Thanks!
