Remove "News" section

The News section is 2.5 years stale, and this isn't the first time it's gone stale.

If all the News section is, is a listing of releases this seems to be redundant as the Download Now -> Latest Version takes you to the full listing of releases in GitHub. Thus, I propose its removal.
