Problem tu run GUI

Hello,

I have a problem with runn the app. Including pict with error:

foos_nonType

Hi,

Can you add some more info? What raspberry are ou using? Looks like you're running it from rc.local with root. Are you able tu run it with the pi user from the command line? What version of pi3d are you running?

Hi, Firstly I want to really Thank you, for your instat reply. I tryied to start one more time from the begining. Now I am a little bit further, But still have issues.

I am using Raspberry 4 4GB. pi3d version 2.38

Now I have some problem with AssertionError - Is it possible, to run GUI without connection all other HW?

Hi,

I haven't checked it on a RasperryPi 4 honestly, Apparently there are some issues with pi3d, and probably some of the specific code I have for drawing the background: See #70 I'll try to get one and verify it.

So it looks like there are several issues with foos on the Pi4 due to the change in the cip and its drivers. There are a few tips in https://www.raspberrypi.org/forums/viewtopic.php?f=67&t=254790&p=1561101#p1561101 on how to get pi3d running. I didn't have time yet to try and see what else is not working. I'm gonna update the doc to warn that the pi4 is currently not supported until these are fixed. On the Pi3/Pi2 it should run without problem
