Save last used settings
Sorry for writing again, but I really like the tool and would like to help improve it 😉
Today I was creating a confetti effect for a background. As I was using different shapes I had to do the same thing multiple times. Would be nice if Looper saves the last used settings, so that I just can apply the same action to different shapes.
Would be also very handy if you are playing arround and just want to tweak some settings but keep the same look.
Thanks for the suggestion Alexander, thats a really cool idea! If I know how to store variables per session in sketch plugins, I can implement this, honestly I not sure how to implement it :) do you happen to know how to do this?
@sureskumar Honestly not really. I just know that you can use NSUserDefaults for such settings in "normal" applications. Maybe there is a way to use this as well in Sketch plug-ins?
@sureskumar Today I came across the API reference you probably need! There is an official way to safe settings persisted, even after closing Sketch. But I guess in this case it would be enough to use the Settings.setSessionVariable('myVar', 0.1) - see here: https://developer.sketchapp.com/reference/api/#set-a-plugin-setting-1
