No relays found that work
First, this is brilliant. Thanks for building it, @supertestnet.
I've tried the following relays, and for each, I see the error That relay won't accept our dms, please use a different one.
- wss://nos.lol
- wss://relay.damus.io
- wss://nostr.mutinywallet.com
wss://relay.damus.io works for me, I used it for my demo
Before letting you submit a relay your browser "checks it" on the client side by running the following test:
(1) submit a randomly-generated event to it (2) retrieve that event
This test is designed to ensure that people don't accidentally include a paid relay or a misspelled relay that would then result in them not getting notifications
If you got the error "That relay won't accept our dms" then your client-side check failed, which could have a lot of reasons
Maybe you already had a connection to that relay in a different tab so they wouldn't let you open a second one
Maybe of your adblockers prevented you from connecting to the relay
Maybe your internet connection was flaky
Maybe you were on a mobile device and switched apps while the loading box was showing so your OS killed the subprocess
There could be a lot of reasons and I can't be sure what happened but I can recommend you try again and see if it works for you now
