Slide not triggering on legato (303)

With the latest version of the REEMU we have Remote mode to send external notes to the RE-303 (thanks!), and when notes overlap a legato is expected to slide, but it does not seem to trigger with my sequencer. I recorded the midi events and it does show that a new note is sent before the previous note off event but it's still not triggering a slide. A standard midi keyboard seems to trigger the slide, so it does not appear to be a hardware issue from the synth itself.
