In the new (beta) IntelliJ UI selected file is not highlighted in Project sidebar

Describe the bug As the title says: when enabling the "beta" UI in IntelliJ, the selected file on the project sidebar does not show as highlighted (and, to be fair, even with the "traditional" UI, the contrast of the background could be better)

To Reproduce Steps to reproduce the behavior:

  1. Apply Atom Dark One theme
  2. Choose any of the files in the project
  3. The file on the sidebar is not highlighted
