Chrome extension, EOL?

Question

Is the Chrome extension end of life or will you update it?

Have tried adding as unpacked on version 108 and 109, but there are so many errors.

I have seen YT videos where it works for people but somehow doesn't want to work for me.

First error is that the native_host.json file contains the wrong chrome-extension ID, changing it shows multiple errors in the Manifest files saying its using Manifest Version 2 while Chrome seems to demand Version 3, and changing the Manifest files "manifest_version" to "3" gives new errors, like "background.scripts" not being used in Manifest Version 3 etc etc.

I have tried converting to Version 3 but new errors keep on popping up, like having to add "id" for each "chrome.contextMenus.create" functions - and I just gave up eventually.

For me weirdly it works anyway in chrome v110 in spite of the message "Manifest version 2 is deprecated, and support will be removed in 2023.". I loaded extension manually from folder. Just ignore the error? You can try version beta, but there for me it's working only through app media grabber window (in current version).

I UPDATED THE EXTENSION TO MANIFEST V3,' but due to the cors issue, I also had to update the xdman.jr that is in the root folder of XDM, YOU NEED TO DOWNLOAD my version of xdman.jar and replace the one in the root folder (DON'T FORGET TO GO TO "File" --> "Exit" first).
