Could you add the ability to specify the protocol - HTTPS or HTTP for s3 Endpoint URL?

I have no budget and there's no rush, please add this feature for free

I took a quick look at the AWS client code, and it seems the endpoint can be specified with or without the protocol. Have you tried this? e.g.

aws-s3.endpoint=http://example.com
