Check For Updates Button on Client not working

When I click on the Check For Updates button I get an error message that says Uh Oh
Update Check Failed Message: https://stream-pi.com/API/get_latest.php?TYPE=CLIENT

How to I get updates? I think I get something similar on the server software, but I'll start with this first.

The About screen doesn't explicitly say what version this is, but there is a couple of lines at the bottom under DONATE that says 1.0.0 - Linux - Early Access Java 11.0.11 | JavaFX 17-internal Build date/time: 1/7/2021 19:56:29 IST

Its supposed to be like that. The update system is not finalised yet.
