Support for FLAC?

Any chance for FLAC support? Please. Edit: Sorry. I saw it is in the TODO file.

I guess Bram may add this if code is written or exists but other than that, I assume that mp3blaster is mostly in maintenance mode, at best. Updates happening in a once-per-decade manner. :D

FYI i have an ancient patch to add

  • transparent background support
  • basic FLAC support If memory serves me right, i had at one point only a specific bit-depth supported and not all. Looking at the patch it does not include my most recent version from back but well.

Maybe you can use my old patch as a basis or for inspiration. See mpegsound/flacplayer.cc.

The patch is against mp3blaster-3.2.3 which IIRC was current back then. 2008-11-16 18:04 339K https://busybox.net/~aldot/mp3blaster/fwd-007g3.patch

Oh, and i had a sox spectrogram painted from /tmp/out.wav to keep my silence, you'd want to rip that out, of course. Well nowadays i'd probably use ffmpeg instead of sox.. ;)
