Node glow looks like a 1px solid border rather than a soft glow on smaller nodes

Some tweaking required on this visual effect for smaller nodes. Looks a little strange right now. Increase width and opacity of the glow by about 30-50% for these nodes, maybe?

the medium nodes are affected too. they look ok when they're small, (surprisingly) but as they grow they lose fuzziness, and then the border turns into a translucent ring (put some other nodes behind it to see)
