[Feature] Performer Markers

Open ciaron88 opened this issue 5 years ago • 1 comments

Is your feature request related to a problem? Please describe. There is no easy way to quickly find all markers from particular performer(s).

Describe the solution you'd like Add the ability to add performers to markers, like with scenes. This can also be added to filers and a “Markers” tab in the performer page.

Describe alternatives you've considered Putting performer name in the name for the marker. This can make marker name to long and complicated. Also, only works when looking for 1 performer at a time but with the performer filter you can use include all, include or exclude for better results etc...

Additional context This could also be extended to have the ability to add performers as Top/Bottom performer in markers I don't think this is needed scene wide but can work good for markers. This is not an issue in most porn but I have Trans/Bi porn in my collection and filtering marker by when performs Top/Bottom can be useful.

Something like this would work very elegantly with the scene breakdown concept FR here https://github.com/stashapp/stash/issues/3530

For this to make sense I have to distinguish between the different meanings of the word "scene".

Scene:

  1. Stash's term for a video object; video file
  2. a part of a story or film in which the action stays in one place for a continuous period of time. A compilation or movie is compromised of multiple scenes. Most modern web releases contain one scene, but it's not unusual for mainstream releases to consist of multiple scenes within the same story.

Scene breakdown:

  • A scene breakdown (as used on IAFD) is basically adding performers to a scene (the video) and defining what scene (part of the story) it is. Represented as an incrementing number (scene 1, 2, 3, 4,...). Eg. Scene 1: Jane, Joe; Scene 2: Jane, Bob

Performer markers:

  • When creating a marker you could have the option to assign it to a scene in the scene breakdown. And voila, you've automatically got performers associated with the marker.
