Web app sometimes loads with default appearance after being inactive
Describe the bug I have standardnotes always open in a pinned tab. When I come back to this tab after a while (especially after my computer has been suspended), the app will often load with the default (white) appearance even though another appearance was selected previously. Refreshing the page fixes it. I have had this happen in both firefox and chrome
To Reproduce
- Leave Standardnotes open in a tab without using it for a long time
- Switch to the tab with Standardnotes
- It renders with default (white) appearance instead of previously selected appearance
Expected behavior App should always load with previously selected appearance
Desktop (please complete the following information):
- OS: Windows 11
- Browser: Firefox, Chrome
- Version: Multiple versions, this bug has been happening for a long time
Additional context I think it's related to the way browsers suspend and resume inactive tabs
I'll try to take a screenshot next time it happens, to show that the app renders a different appearance than the one selected
