Dynamic Mode on desktop doesn't cover the entire text

Describe the bug When turning on dynamic mode or starting the application for desktop, the text is not entirely covered. It seems to be fixed if you resize the window, but until then the shrink won't cover the entire text.

To Reproduce Steps to reproduce the behavior:

1. Click on the appearance menu.
2. Toggle Dynamic Panels on.
3. See error on the far left navigation panel
4. Resize window
5. See resolved error on the far left navigation panel

Expected behavior When turning on Dynamic Panels, only the icons would be shown while not hovering over the nav panel.

After some testing, it appears to also occur when swapping sections with the Dynamic Panels enabled, and the Files title appears to be squashed. If I need to open a new issue for this one specifically, let me know.
