Buttons are being misplaced above view label instead of to the right of it
Describe the bug In the Linux desktop app, the preferences and new note buttons are displayed above the view's label instead of to the right of it, unlike the correct layout in the web app.
To Reproduce
- Download the app (AppImage or .deb file from the CI pipeline).
- Open the app.
- Notice the buttons are positioned above the view label in the main interface.
Expected Behavior The preferences and new note buttons should be located to the right of the view's label, maintaining the layout consistency with the web app.
Actual Behavior The buttons are incorrectly placed above the view label, disrupting the intended layout.
Screenshots
Desktop (please complete the following information):
- OS: Debian 11 (Bullseye) via ChromeOS Linux feature
- Version: 3.183.29 (this "broke" a while ago but I'm finally making a report)
Additional Context The exact version when this issue first appeared is unknown, as I switched to the web app out of frustration when it occurred. I didn't think to report this at the time.
For anyone else with this issue, it appears that the flatpak version might fix the issue. It might be an alternative if the issue can't or won't be resolved in the official app.
