[Desktop][deb] Standard Notes not updating, not showing if updates are available even when checking.

OS: Debian 11 (bullseye) Standard Notes versions: 3.22.17 and 3.23.21. Package: standard-notes-3.23.21-linux-amd64.deb

I had installed standard-notes-3.22.17-linux-amd64.deb about a week ago. I checked for updates every day (Hamburger menu -> updates -> Check for update) but it never showed any message. Doesn't show what the latest version available is. When I used to use AppImage, it showed whether update is available. It also told me if installed version was the latest version.

I also ran apt update; apt full-upgrade every day. But my Standard Notes was never updated.

I see version 3.23.21 was released 4 days ago. So I again manually downloaded the deb package and installed it. Even now when I check for updates it doesn't show any message.
