DFU Mode on Mac Mini

Hey, I've been trying to get DFU mode (0x0106) VDM message to be sent to my Mac Mini, however I'm not able to send the same message 1-3 seconds after sending the first one.

Sending a DFU message 1-3 seconds after the first one or reboot message does put a Mac Mini into DFU mode, but only if done over the macvdmtool. If I try to manually press D around 2 seconds after the first time, the Mac still boots into the normal user mode.

Have you had any luck with this command and ideally sending multiple messages spaced apart by a specific duration?

I unfortunately don't have access to a a Mac Mini - what processor is in your Mini?
