[bug] Book of books not changing spells

Mod Version: Fabric 1.4.13

For some reason the book of books does not go through the different spells when I shift+scroll. When I do shift+ scroll, the book stays in my hand but the spell doesn't change

edit: Somehow I was able to make the spell change once but I don't seem to be able to do it again

perhaps add a way to use keybinds to change spells?

Thank you for reporting this, and sorry this took me a second to get back to you. I've been looking into potential causes for this but have been having trouble replicating the issue. To confirm, there are spellbooks inside of your book of books, correct? Are you playing Singleplayer or on a server?
