"git submodule init" now outputs status to stderr. Cocaine at time of writing doesn't support capture of stderr. Redirecting this way makes git 2.9 and earlier versions work.
This is esp. bad if there are multiple submodules for a repo. But it will show up at least once for every git fastclone operation I believe the real reason...
