Inline gradient stops

Would it be useful to have gradient stops appear in the document ?

So instead of two small diamond markers, you get two larger gradientstops that you can either move, or double click and edit?

And similarly: would it be useful to so for shadow as well? So that shadow editing can be done by pulling out and moving a single "gradient" stop, and double clicking would bring up the colordialog etc..
